I have been wondering how you were getting along and how your mum was handling things as well. I'm sorry for your loss and I also know how hard it is to loose.
Take care.

Im sure he would want to say these words to you..and i hope they are of some comfort
Miss me....but let me go
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little--but not too long
And not more…

I am sorry for your loss. It's something I've yet to go through, so can't really offer any better words. Not from experience, anyway.
I do salute him that he did those things for Cancer Research. I only hope when the time comes that I am as brave.
There was a nice sentiment on something I watched this week. "Don't be sad f more…

I wish there was something to do in this kind of situation but speaking from both sides of the coin you have to just be there. She won't leave before she's ready and she needs to know she can rely on you 100% otherwise she may end up pushing you away.
I lost a really good fiend by intervening in a similar situation. OK, now things are more…

All I can suggest is be there for your friend, emotionally - as long as it doesn't drag you down too, perhaps. I had a relationship with a woman who left her husband. They had a child together, and he was abusive towards her. When he found out about me, he phoned my home phone 40 times in one evening. He brought their daughter to the door. He threa more…

Jack said it best. The best thing you can do is be there for your friend. It is up to her to make the first move. If you do push to hard you could loose your friend as well. more…

I deal with this issue every working day and sadly the fact is that abused woman will be assaulted on average 35 times until they report it to police...the police have now adopted a positive action with regards to domestic violence. but sadly without a victim statement its hard to prosecute you need to get her to speak to the local police domestic more…

I am so impressed by your will-power. WIth my up and coming event I can't seem to stop eating. And just a tip if you ignore all the gimmicks and just eat some good, healthy homemade food. It might work for you - unfortunately for me I don't think macaroni cheese or spaghetti carbonara fall under the 'good health' bracket. more…

The thing about slimfast is that the scales show you lost the weight but all the gas it creates leaves you in the same clothes. Jack has the right idea about finding the right foods for you.

so sad, but you have the right attitude.
you just have to live, and learn.
and be yourself, that's the most important thing.
sounds like your mum is lucky to have you to help her through this.
